Shopaholic-anon?

Ok so it's not so anonymous when I'm mentioning that I'm a shopaholic, but, can I still say that I am a shopaholic-anon? It sounds better don't you think?

You know how we're all always trying to save money, trying to cut corners when it comes to spending, like finding those 3 for 2 deals or collecting those coupons that mostly exist in other countries aside from the UK? It's always great to find yourself a bargain.  We get the product we wanted in the first place or an inspired type of product from the high end spectrum, you always get the feeling of ahh. You feel ecstatic as if you're on cloud 9?  At least that's how I feel when I find myself a bargain.  A product I've been wanting for a fraction of the price that is always an amazing feeling for me!

Have you noticed how everyone including you has a vice? A weakness?  For some it's chocolate, for some it's shoes, bags, or clothes, and for some of us it's make-up.  I have to admit, my vice is getting quite large! I used to be into handbags only but as I grew older and the more videos I watch on good ol' trusty YouTube I've become more obsessed with clothes and make-up.  There's nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, but there's something wrong with looking your best and carrying that attitude of arrogance on the side.

Anyway back on topic.. I've done a bit of shopping this week - thank you pay cheque!
I will film a video of what I've bought and will upload as soon as work gives me a bit of time to spare for all the lovely people in the beauty community so I can share with you my finds this week!

Be amazed, be appreciative, be grateful and be kind.
There's enough negativity in the world, so let's add a little light into the dark.

Giveaway for my blog and Twitter!

I wanted to do a giveaway on my other channel but due to technical issues I had to delete it and start over.  So here I am explaining my giveaway here where I can explain in much more detail.

It's the holidays and I thought it would be nice to give something away.  Not everyone during this time can afford their wants as they're too busy being nice and generous to others and make a sacrifice, so I wanted to give something away that could show you that there are people out there like me who think of these people who make a sacrifice during these times and wanted to say "Thank you" for being you.

For your chance to win the awesome quad of eyeshadow called Tinseltown by Sue Moxley and a cute brush set from Forever21 here are the rules and how to enter:-

  • There is no particular age for this giveaway.  However if you are under 18 years old I will need you to get your parent/guardians permission to enter this giveaway as I will need to have your personal details such as your name and address so I can mail this gift out to you.
  • To enter you have to follow this blog and write in the comments for this post that you would like to enter the giveaway or if you haven't got a blogspot account you can follow me on Twitter @nathaliemayxo and re-tweet my giveaway tweet that I will be posting on there later today.  So please look out for the tweet so you can re-tweet it.  :) An if you have both blogspot and Twitter then feel free to enter both times! :)
  • The giveaway will end on the 30th of December 2011 (GMT) midnight and the winner will be announced on the 31st of December 2011 via Twitter. So keep your eyes peeled for that.

Organic make-up seems to be starting to become something worth looking into here in London.  When you mention the word organic people seem just that little bit more interested.  I don't blame them.  We want to look great, and if we can look great with less harmful chemicals on our bodies, then why not?

Truly Yours Carnation

Water Poppy
I was recommended a new site Being Content and I had a perusal and the products look amazing.  I love their nail polish which ranges from broadly based shades, from bright colours to neutrals to pastels and more.  I absolutely adore Water Poppy and Truly Yours Carnation, these two are from their neutrals nail polish range.  I love me some neutrals! But these two colours look so pretty, simple and elegant.  Not to mention the packaging of the nail polish, it's so pretty!  The lovely little floral statement symbol on the front of the bottle is the cherry on the cake for elegance and simplicity.

The company not only have nail polish but of course a full range of make-up products.  They have compact powders, concealers, bronzers and such.  The packaging for some of the other products aren't as elegantly put, however it still looks pretty decent and well put together.  I haven't seen these products in the flesh, this is all just observations from online which you can see for yourself in the link provided above, but from word of mouth from a friend, their make-up is amazing for her skin and she has many problem areas on her face like blemishes and such, and she has said her skin is flawless and looks amazing and doesn't react badly to the organic make-up.

Now that's something worth thinking about possibly... Maybe try out organic if you have problematic skin issues with make-up at the moment?  I think I will.

Do check out their site and let me know if you have tried their products.  Let me know if their products are as good as they look!  I'm definitely going to start saving up some money and trying out their products soon.  Especially the nail polish.. It's so pretty.

Until then ~  hope you're all having a great week!
